PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium storage container capable of preventing breakage generated in carrying, storing or handling recording media representative of CD-ROM and DVD and cases, excellent in impact resistance, and excellent in transparency. SOLUTION: In the rubber modified styrene resin containing rubber-like elastic body as dispersant particles, the resin phase is a polymer consisting of (1) 30-70wt.% styrene monomer, and (2) 70-30wt.% acrylic acid ester monomer, the mean grain size of the rubber particles in the dispersant phase is in the range of 0.3 to 2.0μm, and a recording medium storage case made of rubber modified styrene resin containing 5 to 15wt.% rubber elastic body is excellent in impact resistance and transparency.
