BOARD FOR FOOD PACKAGING CARTON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive board for a food packaging carton to be used without damaging the loveliness of the inner face of the carton when a water absorption sheet is turned into transparent by water or oil even for the board having its back layer of low whiteness such as a low grade paper or a colored paper and also without the defects of re-adhesion of water or oil to a content, the collapse of shape of the carton and the like. SOLUTION: A water absorption and oil absorption sheet 3 of water absorption of 50-250g/m<2> per 2 minutes and oil absorption of food oil of 50-200g/m<2> per 2 minutes is heat fusion bonded on a back layer 1c of a board main body 1 having the back layer 1c of whiteness of 70% or less through a thermoplastic resin layer 2 of opaqueness of 75-90% when a white inorganic pigment is blended. The thermoplastic resin layer 2 is a resin layer of thickness of 20-40μm in which titanium oxide of 10-30wt.% is blended with polyethylene resin or polypropylene resin, and it is preferable that a release agent of solid content of 0.1-1.0g/m<2> is applied on the surface of the water absorption and oil absorption sheet 3.
