Flotation apparatus with induced air or gas for the separation of water and of hydrocarbon pollutants, consisting of a cylindrical vessel and of a pot for connection to the outside, the cylindrical vessel being divided into homogenisation compartments (1), flotation cells (2) in series and a calming compartment (3), each flotation cell being equipped with a turbine-cyclone (4) of stator-rotor type and of a skimming system using an automatically stabilised chute (5) mounted on a skimming well. Each of the turbine-cyclones is equipped with a choke disc and vortex-stabilising baffles. The skimming chute with side flotation devices is equipped with a counterweight providing it with stability.
