PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean air by utilizing solar energy and the external wall of a building. SOLUTION: An air cleaing wall 2 forms the external wall of a building 4, and is composed of an external sidewall 6, an internal sidewall 8, air cleaning means 10, an air-permeable waterproof sheet 12, a space section 18, etc. The air-permeable waterproof sheet 12 is disposed on the external sidewall 6 on the inside of the external sidewall 6, and the vertically extended space section 18 is formed of the air-permeable waterproof sheet 12 and the internal sidewall 8. The space section 18 is elongated to a section upper than a roof floor section 20 and an upper end is covered with a wall section 21, and an exhaust opening 22 communicating the space section 18 and the outside air is formed to the upper section of the internal sidewall 8. An infinite number of holes, into which the outside air can be passed, are formed in the whole region of the external sidewall 6 in the direction that the external sidewall 6 is penetrated. The air- permeable waterproof sheet 12 has air permeability, and has water repellency (waterproofness) for preventing the inflow of rainwater, etc. A plurality of air cleaning means 10 are installed vertically to the space section 18 at intervals. |
