PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable resistor for high voltage wherein stable and sure electric contact and conduction of a connecting terminal and a terminal electrode can be obtained. SOLUTION: A plane contact part 7d whose width is wider than other parts is arranged on the tip of a spring part 7b of a connecting terminal, and a plurality of protruding chips 7e are formed on the contact part 7d. The connecting terminal is housed and fixed in a connecting terminal housing part 6 in the state that the outer edge part of a lead wire connecting part 7a is held with a terminal holding trench 6a of the connecting terminal housing part 6, and the respective protruding chips 7e are in contact with a terminal electrode 2a for output of an insulating board 2 and pressed by the insulating board 2. A lead wire 8 inserted from a lead wire holding tube 1b is connected with the connecting terminal by clamping the core 8a with the respective clamp chips 7c. |
