PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that can fit a light bulb in at appropriate state to a light incident face of a prism composite body. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel unit 50R is fitted to a light incident face of a prism composite body 22. This unit 50R has a panel frame plate 51 for holding a liquid crystal panel 40R, and a fixed frame plate 54 adhesively fixed to the light incident face 22R. The panel frame plate 51 is screw-fastened to the side of the fixed frame 54 through an intermediate frame plate 55. The position of the panel frame plate 51 is adjusted to the light incident face 22R using a wedge 57 so as to be able to positively position and fix the liquid crystal panel 40R held thereto. The slippage of picture element adjustment is thereby suppressed, and focusing can be accurately performed to easily obtain high precision. In addition, enlargement of the prism composite body can be avoided while making the failed liquid crystal panel replaceable.
