PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer area managing method for reducing the generation rate of an exception processing 'Tx- Buffer- Full' error in a digital mobile telephone system base station controller and for improving reliability in data communication. SOLUTION: A part of a reception buffer area is used as a transmission buffer area in a transmission/reception buffer 6 for reducing the generation rate of the exception processing 'Tx- Buffer- Full' error generated at the data communication in the digital mobile telephone system base station controller 21.
