Gas burner for heating tubes

The burner has a metal envelope (21) with a front end which is open (25) and has two lateral surfaces (27) in which are respective seatings (26) opening at the open end an defining a transverse opening. A metal grill (30) to catch the flame defined a burner at the inside of the envelope, disposed along a cylindrical surface partially enclosing the seating and connection the two sides around the seatings. There is an ignition electrode (38) and a current source between the electrode and the mass formed by the envelope and the grill. The electrode has an active region (39) to form a spark between the seating and the grill.
