PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the precise detection of a parking state, etc., at night by image-processing video photographing a parking lot so as to prepare an image reduced in halation in a high luminance area and emphasizing the contrast of vehicles in a low luminance area. SOLUTION: A video signal picked up by a camera 1 is converted to a digital signal by an AD converter 21 to prepare a digital image, the digital image is integrated to prepare an integrated image, the luminance value of this integrated image is converted by a luminance conversion characteristic curve by histogram equalizing processing to prepare a luminance conversion image and this luminance conversion image is image-processed by an image processing part 3. Thereby the detection of the vehicles at a parking lot at night is precisely attained. |
