摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide detecting capacity hardly influenced by an illumination geometry condition for an applying condition detecting device using a vision sensor. SOLUTION: A command is sent to an illumination light source switching device 20 from a picture processing device incorporated into an applying condition detecting device, and light sources 5A, 5B and 5C are lighted in order, and three kinds of texture images T(1)ij to T(3)ij are obtained. Next, a command is sent to an application control part 7, and application of an adhesive 1 and monitoring of an applying condition are started. In the monitoring, the light sources 5A, 5B and 5C are lighted in order, and three kinds of monitoring images Z(1)ij to Z(3)ij are obtained, and are compared with the respective corresponding texture images T(1)ij to T(3)ij, and image data most clearly showing a difference before and after application are gathered up, and an optimal extraction image Dij is made. A progree degree (such as the area of an applying part) of an applying condition is judged on the basis of this optimal extraction image Dij, and a command is sent to the application control part 7 when application of a proper quantity is completed, and application of the adhesive 1 is finished. A quality inspection after finishing an applying process may be judged by a shape or the like of the applying part on the basis of the optimal extraction image Dij.
