PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire a desired retrieval result by carrying out the normal retrieval to retrieve a dictionary based on a designated character string and the extension retrieval to retrieve the dictionary based on a character string obtained by adding a character string to another. SOLUTION: A dictionary retrieval part 18 retrieves a dictionary part 20 based on the reading and header character strings which are received from an input control processing part 12 and then stores the acquired retrieval candidates in a dictionary retrieval result storage part 22. That is, a dictionary is retrieved based not only on a designated character string given from the part 12 but on every character string that is obtained by adding both preceding and next characters of the designated character string to this string with one by one word. Furthermore, the dictionary is also retrieved based on a character string consisting of each character divided from the designated character string in addition to this string given from the part 12. In such cases, the dictionary retrieval carried out based on a designated character string is referred to as the normal retrieval and the dictionary retrieval carried out based on a character string including or included in the designated string is referred to as the extension retrieval respectively. |
