PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a customer himself or herself to alter customer information in an account information file by displaying a customer information input screen at an operation display part, making the customer input customer information, and registering this customer information in the account information file by customers. SOLUTION: When the customer selects address changing operation on a transaction selection screen (S1), the automatic transacsion machine starts an address changing process. When the customer inserts the card of a desired account whose address is to be changed and inputs the password code (S2 and S3), the automatic transaction machine edits its card information, the password code, etc., into a current address confirmation message and informs a host computer of it, and displays the current address received from the host computer for customer's confirmation (S6-S13). The automatic transaction machine displays a new address for customer's confirmation and informs the host computer of it (S14). The host computer registers the new address (S15) and answers the completion of the registration to the automatic transaction machine. |
