PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize inexpensively a decoder decoding a voice signal being compressed and coded. SOLUTION: A multiplexed coded picture and voice signal is distributed by a distributor 2, and a coded picture signal and a coded voice signal are obtained. The coded picture signal is decoded by a video decoder 3 and outputted. The coded voice signal is sent to a RAM 6, processing of a first half of coded voice signal decoding processing and system control processing controlling a system are performed with time division in a MPU 5. The processed result of the first half of voice decoding processing is sent to a FIFO memory 8 being controlled in underflow/overflow by a FIFO controller 20, and the latter half of voice signal decoding processing is processed by a f-T conversion circuit 9. Thereby, as voice decoding processing and system processing can be performed in the same circuit, a circuit scale can be reduced. |
