PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To plot an image including an opaque polygon and a semi-transparent polygon at a high speed while using a Z buffer. SOLUTION: At a main CPU 111, polygons consisting of the image are distinguished into semitransparent and opaque polygons, and the opaque polygon is plotted by a GPU 115 while using the Z buffer. Besides, the semitransparent polygons are rearranged in the order of depth directions by performing Z sort at a PPP 120. Then, when the opaque polygon is completely plotted, the semitransparent polygons are plotted in the order from deep side to front side by the GPU 115 while using the Z buffer. |
