PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation convenience and power of expression by temporarily preserving photometric information obtained with photometry through the use of a remote control device on this device side and transferring the photometric information to a camera side at arbitrary timing. SOLUTION: In the remote control device, when a user manually operates a switch means 4, a prescribed signal is inputted to a control means 1. illuminance information obtained with the photometry by a photometry means 3 is converted into luminance information by a CPU of a control means 1 and temporarily stored/kept in a storage means 2. The luminance information is transmitted to the camera side by a transmission means 5, with further input signals by the switch means 4. On the other hand, for informing the user that the photometry is completed, a warning means 6 executes a displaying or sounding operation. On the camera side, an exposure control value is calculated with the received photometric information and exposure is controlled based on the calculated exposure control value. |
