PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a display body such as liquid crystal both for a reflection type and a transmission type and to obtain bright display. SOLUTION: A light reflection part 2 which is provided with an inclined surface 4 at least on one surface of a base material 1 having transparency and whose inclined surface has light reflecting property, and a light transmission part 3 which is provided with a horizontal surface and whose horizontal surface has light transmitting property are alternately and repeatedly provided in one of the horizontal directions of the base material. The cross section of the light reflection part parallel with the repeating direction is set to an isosceles triangle whose apex angle is 5 deg. to 175 deg. and a light reflecting layer is formed on the inclined surface by vapor-depositing metal such as aluminum so as to improve light reflecting property.
