PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a machine room space for installing a compressor and make an air conditioner compact by respectively providing one of first and second engaging support members which can be fitted to each other and detached from each other by making their relative rotation on the bottom part of the compressor and the other on the bottom plate of the main casing of the air conditioner. SOLUTION: When a compressor 5 in a machine room is installed on the bottom plate 20 of a casing, both the right and left side pieces 15b, 15b of a first engaging member are first welded to the bottom part 5d of the compressor 5. Then, a second engaging member 25 is fastened and fixed onto the bottom plate 20. Then, the rotation regulating groove 17 of the first engaging member is aligned with the axial movement regulating piece 22 of the upper end of the second engaging member 25 so that the fitting hole 16 of the first engaging member is fitted to the upper end of the cylindrical part 21 of the second engaging member 25. Thus, the compressor 5 is rotated so that the rotation regulating groove 17 is fitted to a rotation regulating protrusion 24 of the second engaging member 25. Thus, a bottom plate part 15a is dropped on the bearing surface of the load bearing part 23 of the second engaging member 5 so that the compressor 5 is stably and assuredly supported on the bottom plate 20. |
