PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the position of viewpoint and the direction of line of sight while observing the periphery by constituting a sectional image obtained by means of cutting a three-dimensional picture on a face containing the position of the viewpoint and the direction of line of sight, which are initialized, and displaying markers showing the position of the viewpoint and the direction of line of sight on the plane of the sectional image. SOLUTION: This device is provided with CPU 50, a main memory 52, a magnetic disk 54, a display memory 56, CRT 58, a mouse 60, a mouse controller 62, a keyboard 64 and a common bus 66. An initialization means initializes the position of the viewpoint and the direction line of sight eyes and a picture constitution means constitutes the sectional image obtained by cutting the three-dimensional picture on the face containing the position of the viewpoint and the direction of line of sight which are initialized, and displays the sectional image on a monitor screen. A marker display means displays the markers showing the position of the viewpoint and the direction of line of sight on the plane of the sectional image. Thus, the position of the viewpoint and the direction of line of sight on the pseudo three-dimensional picture, which is monitor-displayed, can easily be grasped and set. |
