PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of adequately informing the replacing period of a fixing device. SOLUTION: When the temperature of a ceramic heater is raised from waiting temperature T0 deg.C to fixing capable temperature T3 deg.C, a timer is started at timing t1a at which temperature becomes T1 deg.C and stopped at timing t2a at which the temperature becomes T2 deg.C, and temperature raising time from T1 deg.C to T2 deg.C is measured. When the accumulative number of transfer materials on which an image is formed is less than 100 pieces for example, the maximum value of the raising time is renewed, and after the accumulative number reached 100 pieces, the maximum raising time is judged whether it is the specified value or more or not, and when it becomes the specified value or more (for example, t2b-t1b), it is judged that the fixing heater is deteriorated and should be replaced. |
