PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of turbulent flows of suction air near outer peripheral edges on ribs which are vertically provided on a casing and provided with connections for connection of a plurality of cross-flow fans. SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises a casing 5 having a pair of ribs 5b vertically provided, which receive therein a plurality of cross-flow fans and are provided with semi-circular connections (a), which are positioned perpendicular to the cross-flow fans to connect cross-flow fan shafts and support the cross-flow fans, a dew receiver formed integral with the casing 5 for receiving dew flowing down from the heat exchanger, and a stabilizer 8 provided contiguous to the dew receiver between the heat exchanger and the cross-flow fans. There are clearances between outer peripheral edges (a') on the ribs 5b and the stabilizer 8, which are connected to each other by connecting ribs 9. |
