PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress malfunctions due to discharge currents of auxiliary anodes in a plasma display device. SOLUTION: A current IDC is made to flow from an auxiliary anode driving circuit 12 through a discharge path DC ranging from a resistor 14j , an auxiliary anode 12j , an auxiliary cell 5mj and a cathode 3m to a cathode driving circuit 13m by the auxiliary discharge of the auxiliary 5mj . However, since the magnitude of the current IDC is suppressed by the resistor 14j , an interference with respect to the display anode parallel arranged adjacently to the auxiliary anode 2j is reduced. Thus, the effect on an anode driving circuit by the current IDC is extinguished and malfunctions in a display are suppressed. |
