PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guide system capable of easily receiving route guide service by carrying a small-sized communication terminal by a user. SOLUTION: A starting point, a passing area and a destination are designated to a route data calculation apparatus from a portable communication terminal carried by a user (S12) and route data are calculated by the route data calculation apparatus (S34). The calculated route data are transmitted to the portable communication terminal (S36) to be stored (S14). The stored route data are compared with the present position data of the user calculated by the present position detection function provided to the portable communication terminal and, if necessary, guide data are calculated to be outputted to the user by a sound (S20). |
