NON-CONTACT IC CARD READER/WRITER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card reader/writer where the influence of an electromagnetic field induced by a transmission coil for the reception coil of an IC card reader/writer is restricted and an S/N at the time of receiving a signal from the IC card is improved. SOLUTION: The IC card reader/writer is provided with the reception coil 11 and the transmission coil 12 in the neighborhood, the reception coil 11 consists of two coils 11a and 11b which are arranged at the both sides of the transmission coil 12 so as to permit the magnitude of currents introduced by the electromagnetic field induced by the transmission coil 12 to be almost the same and the two coils 11a and 11b are serially connected so as to permit the respectively flowing currents to be cancelled each other.
