PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music information retrieval device easy in retriever's operation and capable of easily retrieving music that a retriever desires. SOLUTION: A storage device 18 stores music data so that music information and categories (note, tempo, brightness, singer's singing power, etc.) that the music information belongs to are made to correspond to each other. A CPU 10 displays the reference axis of the categories on a display device 20, sets the range of the axis through operation on a keyboard 16 and with a mouse 16, and retrieves music data within the range from the storage device 18. |
