<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the insertion of data cartridges having different sizes, large and small, into a port of the cartridge by positioning them. SOLUTION: The recording/reproducing device 1 is constituted in such a manner that cartridges 201, 202 having different sizes, large and small, are inserted from a single cartridge port 3, and also is provided with a turning cover 4 for opening/closing the cartridge port 3. The turning cover 4 is constituted of a main turning cover 5 which is pressurized by the cartridge when the cartridge is inserted to the cartridge port 3 and turned in the direction of cartridge insertion to open the cartridge port 3 while automatically turned back to close the cartridge port 3 when the cartridge is ejected from the cartridge port 3, and an auxiliary cover part 6 for controlling the inserting position of the small cartridge when the small cartridge is inserted to the cartridge port 3.</p> |
