<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of horizontal position recognition flags and sensors and to simplify the circuit configuration by equipping flags serially expressing case address information on a medium transfer mechanism and in-case address information in the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: At the time of moving the medium transfer mechanism in the direction of an arrow, the case/in-case address flags 113 fitted to a substrate are detected by address sensors. The flags 113 are allotted to case address areas 121-128, and the area 121 is 1 as its address information while the area 122 is 0 and the area 123 is 1 and then the area 124 is 0, and finally the area 128 is 0 by repeating this procedure, and the individual information is inputted in turn to a shift register circuit. Then, a shift is performed at the time of changing clock information from 0 to 1. A shift result is inputted to a parallel latch circuit, and is latched where latch flag information is changed from 0 to 1 so that each address information is settled, and hence a horizontally directional position of the transfer mechanism is recognized as the case/in-case addresses 119. Similarly, the addresses 118 and 120 can also be recognized.</p> |
