<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the reduction of memory capacitance required for distortion correction without lowering the image quality of output image. SOLUTION: Data converting parts 301 and 302 as many as a maximum number N of overlap in distortion correction are provided for performing the distortion correction for overlapping the lines of read images as the cluster of image data for the unit of a pixel and performing the data conversion of image processing with the decrease in the number of bits for each pixel to the distortion corrected read images. In this case, image data D10 of lines to be overlapped are inputted to the data converting parts 301 and 302 as many as a number (n) of overlap (n<=N) and image data D11a and D11b totally for (n) lines processed by the (n) pieces of data converting parts are stored in a memory 306.</p> |
