PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately carry out a defrosting of each of outdoor machines of an air conditioning apparatus even when a malfunction occurs on any one of outdoor temperature detecting means. SOLUTION: In an air conditioning apparatus, information transmission means which enable an intercommunication of informations are respectively interposed between a plurality of outdoor machines 1A, 1B... which are respectively provided with outdoor temperature detecting means 4A, 4B..., wherein informations which are detected by the outdoor temperature detecting means 4A, 4B... are used as operation control informations such as defrosting operation control informations for the outdoor machines 1A, 1B.... The air conditioning apparatus further includes judging means for judging whether the outdoor temperature detecting means 4A, 4B... are operating normally or abnormally and means 14 which uses temperature informations transmitted from outdoor machines other than the outdoor machines whose outdoor temperature detecting means is judged abnormal by the judging means 12 as operation control informations for the outdoor machine whose outdoor temperature detecting means is judged abnormal. Even when a malfunction occurs on any one of the outdoor temperature detecting means 4A, 4B..., the temperature information which is assumed similar to that of other outdoor machine is used instead thus enabling an accurate defrosting operation of the air conditioning apparatus. |
