PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive temperature-sensitive/initiated type ventilator that exhibits a sufficient ventilating function with a simple construction. SOLUTION: A rotatable partition 17 is pivoted in a box-shape duct 11 whose inside serves as an air flow path. With the partition 17 closing the air flow path, a free end F of the partition 17 comes in contact with a floor 11a of the duct 11 at a position near the end side of the air flow path and far away from a rotation center P. The partition 17 is connected to a ceiling 11b of the duct 11 at a position a little far away from the rotation center P by a shape-memory alloy spring 21 that is in contract state. During low temperatures, the shape-memory alloy spring 21 expends and the partition 17 is kept in closed state by the weights of the partition 17 and a weight 19. During high temperatures, the contraction force of the shape-memory spring 21 keeps the partition 17 in an open state. |
