The system has an area made up of one or more cells (51) of the modules (50, 60). Each cell has 2 cross pieces (12, 13) which allow the positioning of branches (20) and on top are two rails (15, 16) which are joined at each end to the cross pieces by rods (17). The cells are then covered with soil (7). The top of the modules is planted with indigenous species. To make the system more durable a number of posts (71, 72 ) are inserted in the ground and arranged in an offset pattern so that branches (75) can be placed around them and covered with earth to promote the growth of vegetation. The branches are held in place by ropes (87) attached to each post in the front row (71) and to a stake (86) pushed into the earth.
