PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover the operation of an object computer to be maintained by restarting the computer, and switching a hard disk and hardware, etc., through remote operation even unless the object computer to be maintained is in normal operation. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an instruction-side maintenance device 114 and a maintenance-side maintenance device 110 which restarts the object maintained computer 101 by powering ON and OFF the object maintained computer 101 or turning ON and OFF a reset signal according to an instruction given by the instruction-side maintenance device 114 through a communication line 112. |
