<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record plural programs and to enhance operation convenience for a user by performing reciprocating reproduction in a prescribed section of a magnetic tape based on an index signal recorded on the magnetic tape. SOLUTION: A recording control pulse generated by a reference signal generating part 61 and supplied to an index signal additing part 54 is a control information to be given from a main control part 40 to the adding part 54, and the index signals for changing the control pulse into, for example, a starting signal Si1 for recording a prescribed section set on the magnetic tape in a forward course, a changing signal Si2 for a backward course from the forward course and a signal Si3 for stopping operation in the prescribed section as three kinds are generate by the index signal adding part 54, and are supplied to a control head Hc, and the individual signals are recorded in a control track on the magnetic tape by the head Hc to finish the program recording. Then, at the time of reproducing operation, the operation is carried out by the main control part 40 controlling each constituted part based on the index signals detected by an index signal detecting part 55.</p> |
