PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security device which prevents access to a semiconductor chip, or, security information contained in a protection chip. SOLUTION: A device comprises a protected chip 10 and a protecting chip 20. These semiconductor chips face each other, and mutually connected with a communication terminal 30. The protected chip is connected to an outside circuit with the protecting chip, and these semiconductor chips are separated by a semiconductor resin 40 having non-even electric resistance coefficient. The protecting chip 20 is provided with a plurality of means for measuring resistance through the semiconductor resin 40, in addition, provided with a means for deciding, at least through measurement resistance, code key scheduled to be transferred to the protected chip 10, for protecting security information.
