PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the developer from aggregation in the developer transporting chamber inside without requiring a specific drive system and without making a device large. SOLUTION: This device 10, is provided with the toner agitation mechanism composed of the toner transporting roller 15 provided with a continuous groove part 15a periodically on a periphery at an end part in the rotary shaft direction, a mesh member 14 arranged at right angle to the toner developer feeding direction in the shaft direction of the toner transporting roller 15 in the vicinity of the toner feeding port 13 provided between the toner hopper 11 and the toner transporting chamber 12, and an elastic lead member 16 connected with the mesh member 14 by one end part 16c and held in contact with the groove part 15 by the other end part 16a. By the vibrating mesh member 16, the aggregation toner on the front side of the mesh member 16 is dispersed by the vibration and allowed to pass through the mesh 14, therefore deterioration of the latent image quality derived from the poorly electrified toner developer stuck on the photoreceptor 4 is reduced and adverse effect such as abnormality of the toner density sensor on account of the toner scattering is reduced. |
