PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food inventory control device which is simple in operation and available relatively at a low cost. SOLUTION: A food image processing means 1 takes in only a food image. When the door of a refrigerator-freezer is opened and closed in a succeeding specified time, a store indication means 15 determines that foods are stored in a compartment of the door and directs the storage. Based on the direction, a timer means 32 starts the elapsed time from the store point of time as an inventory period. An inventory information memory means 21 stores the name of a compartment, a food image and the inventory period as food information. A take-out indication means 18, when the image of the food is taken in a specified time after the opening/closing of the door is detected, selects the take-out food based on the features of the image by a take-out food selection means 24. In this case, it is determined that the food is taken out and the food information is erased from the inventory information memory means 1 by an inventory information erase means 29. The food information is displayed by the food information display means 22. |
