PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for fixing which has elasticity and is capable of fixing distinct images by including color toners and a fixing device which is arranged with this belt for fixing having the elasticity and is capable of fixing the toner images of full colors. SOLUTION: This belt consists of an endless belt. In such a case, (1) the belt for fixing is provided with a laminated structure obtd. by forming a heat resistant elastomer layer 12 on the outside surface of a thin metallic tube or heat resistant plastic tube 11 and, further, forming a layer 13 of silicone rubber or fluororesin on the outside surface thereof. (2) The hardness (JIS-A) of the heat resistant elastomer layer 12 is <=90. (3) the load direction strainγT when the roller has load of 12g per unit length (1mm) and the load is applied on the belt in its diametral direction over the entire length thereof [the ratio (γT=ϕT/ϕ) of the diameter (mm)ϕT in the load direction when the load on the diameter (mm)ϕof this belt prior to the application of the load is applied on the belt] is specified to 0.500 to 0.995.
