DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY PART DRIVING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss by a resonance and also to make changes of rising characteristics and falling characteristics of pulses small even with respect to the change of the number of electrodes to be driven in a constitution driving the electrodes with the pulses while utilizing a resonance in which an inductance and capacitances of the electrodes of a display part are used. SOLUTION: This display part is provided with a variable inductance part 15 and a changeover part 14 changing over connection states of the electrodes of a display part 9 to the variable inductance part 9. Then, at the time of a display operation, the inductance value is controlled so that the product between the capacitance value of a capacitance which includes capacitances of the display part 9 and which forms a resonance and the inductance value of the variable inductance part 15 becomes values which satisfy the rising specification of the pulses according to the change of the number of the electrodes connected by the changeover part 14.
