PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which is so designed that the operability for attaching a socket mounting bracket to a chassis can be enhanced. SOLUTION: A chassis side plate part 17 which a chassis 21 has is provided at each longitudinal end with a pawl locking recess 18 open to the end face and with a pawl locking slit 19 located closer to the longitudinal center of the chassis side plate part 17 than the recess 18. A bracket side plate part 20 which socket mounting bracket 14 attached to each end of the chassis 11 has is provided with a first locking pawl 23 that is locket into the pawl locking recess 18 and with a second locking pawl 24 that is locked onto the pawl locking hole 19. With the first locking pawl 23 locked into the pawl locking recess 18 to hold the chassis 11 and the mounting bracket 14 in a couples relation to each other, the mounting bracket 14 is rotated to the inside of the chassis 11 with the locked part serving as a fulcrum, so that the second locking pawl 24 is locked into the pawl locking hole 19 to attach the mounting bracket 14 to the chassis 11. |
