PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery holder by which a battery can be easily and reliably mounted and demounted. SOLUTION: A fulcrum part 16B projecting upward is formed in an almost central part of a bottom surface 16A of a battery holder base stand 12. An electrode fixing and battery installing frame 38 on which a fixing part 44 to fix one side 11C of a battery 11 is formed and an electrode fixing and battery fixing taking-out frame 46 on which a fixing part 54 to fix the other side 11D of the battery 11 and a taking-out are formed, are provided. When the battery 11 is installed, in a condition where the other side 11D of the battery 11 is inserted between the fixing part 44 and a bottom surface 16A, one side 11C of the battery 11 is pressed against energizing force of a minus side contact part 34A. Therefore, the battery 11 rotates with the fulcrum part 16B as the center, and is installed in a battery housing part in a single operation. When the taking-out part 52 is pressed in an installing condition of the battery 1, the battery 11 rotates so that one side 11C slips out of the battery housing part with the fulcrum part 16B as the center, and is put in a taking-out condition by getting over the fixing part 44.
