PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor light emission device having superior viewing angle characteristics and shock resistant properties and a method of simply and efficiently manufacturing this multicolor light emission device. SOLUTION: A plurality of first light emitting pixels 102, 104, and 105 of red-based and green-based colors are separately arranged respectively on a first substrate 101, a first organic EL element 100 forming films thereof and plural second light emitting pixels 202, 204, and 205 of blue-based color on a second substrate 201 are arranged, and a second EL element forming a second interlayer insulation film 203 between these second light emitting pixels is laminated so that a first interlayer insulation film 103 and a second interlayer insulation film 203 abut each other at one or more portions. |
