PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily sort a chit by a delivery local area by retrieving an address code through the use of corresponding data on the toll telephone office number and the city telephone office number of telephone number data and issuing distribution slips in the ascending or descending order of the address code. SOLUTION: At the time of successively reading data written in an application slip by means of an image scanner 8, numeral written in a telephone number section are OCR-recognized to read telephone number data, the address code of five-digits by JIS prefecture and municipality code is retrieved through the use of read data and the address code is stored by coordinating with image data of each delivery destination section. Then data written in the application slip is read by the image scanner 8 to stored and accumulated in the memory of a terminal device 7 and at the time of issuing the delivery chit, each image data is first sorted in the ascending or descending order of the address code and then outputted to a printer 9 in the order of the sorted address codes to issue the distribution slips. |
