PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify processing which narrows down retrieval content by accessing an information storing device which has information that is regionally limited from an information portable terminal by using radio communication. SOLUTION: This method consists of portable information terminals 1.1 and 1.2, communication base stations 2.1 to 2.4 and an information management integrated center 3. A region 1 shows a range where the communication bases 2.1 and 2.2 can communicate with the terminal 1, and a region 2 shows a range where the communication bases 2.3 and 2.4 can communicate with the terminal 1. A request which is sent from the terminal 1 is received by the nearest station 2, and information which is stored there is offered to the terminal 1 which gives access. When a change is needed for the information offered, the content of the center 3 is updated, a base station which stores an updated content is specified, according to the content of an information providing management table, and information is transferred to the base station with this as a trigger. Therefore, the information which is narrowed down to a current location can be offered. |
