PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden at data exchanging time by flexibly coping with various on vehicle electronic control systems. SOLUTION: When an address information reading-in flag (flag 3) is set to 1 and is put in an initialization communication condition, an address information demanding command is transmitted to a selected system, and after the whole address information transmitted from an ECU(electronic control unit) is read in according to this address information demanding command, an address of data corresponding to the system and a data identification code ID is calculated, and is transmitted to the ECU, and object data is obtained. Therefore, even when a data storage address is changed by an ECU side design change or the like and even when an ECU side address is different by a difference in a system, a device can automatically cope with it, and a burden at data exchanging time is reduced, and it can flexibly cope with various on-vehicle electronic control systems. |
