PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex transmission system capable of being designed simply, speedy and appropriately and satisfactory in safety and flexibility. SOLUTION: Abnormality in a multiplex processing generated in the multiplex transmission system 50 provided with a master load control unit 10 which is connected to a multiplex transmission network 40 and which can execute a multiplex processing based on abnormal processing control specification information 42 as a main system, a slave load control unit 20 which can execute the multiple processing as a slave system, and an attaching/detaching-type external storage means 11 which can read abnormal processing control specification information 42 at any time is detected. The control of the abnormality processing (previous state continuity processing, compulsory OFF processing and compulsory ON processing) of load control units 51 in an abnormal state is prompted and a restoration processing from the abnormal state is executed.
