PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the pressed-out quantity of an adhesive almost uniform at the side edge part of a holder in the orthogonal direction to the lengthwise direction of a blade body and make a ridgeline position stable. SOLUTION: In the state of a holder 2 being held in a fixed position, the warp quantity is measured in the lengthwise direction of the holder 2. An adhesive is applied to one edge part of a blade body 3 in its lengthwise direction by an adhesive applying device 31 while changing applied thickness according to the measured lengthwise warp quantity of the holder 2. One side edge part of the holder 2 is clamped in the fixed relative position relation to one side edge part of the blade body 3 to manufacture a blade for an electrophotographic device.
