PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless lamp, an electrodeless lamp lighting device, and an ultraviolet ray radiation device having a long life and a large ultraviolet ray radiation amount. SOLUTION: An induction coil 22 is wound on the surface at the upper end part of an electrodeless lamp 20 in which mercury radiating ultraviolet rays of around 260nm effective for sterilization and argon gas are sealed in a long tube 21, and high frequency is supplied to the induction coil 22. The radiation intensity distribution of the ultraviolet rays is strongest in the part where the induction coil 22 is wound, and becomes gradually weaker as approaching the other end of the tube 21, and high sterilizing effect is partially obtained compared with the uniform radiation by the conventional fluorescent lamp. |
