The table has at least one cavity in its upper surface that is moulded in one piece with the table top. An insulated container is fitted into the cavity and is held by the upper edges of the cavity which project inwards. The container is closed by a lid, with a handle, which is at the same level as the table top. There is a gap between the container and the base and sides of the cavity that forms a thermal break. The cavity is rectangular or it can be circular.
