The invention discloses a transmission device comprising an antenna having a plurality of aerial wires (B1 to B4) uniformly distributed in helical configuration about a common cylindrical generator, and means (C, U) for supplying the said aerial wires with a radiofrequency signal. The invention is characterised in that the supply means (C, U) produce an equiphase supply of equivalent amplitude of the said aerial wires.
