Helicopter rotor position stop

The rotor has a hub (2) with at least two blades (1) each connected to the hub by a coupling (3) radially to the rotor axis and itself connected to the hub by pivoting fixings (3). A stop assembly for each blade has a forked sub assembly (17) with a stop finger (18). The fork and finger section are mounted on the hub and coupling respectively. They are displaceable between a position in which the fork and finger are engaged to block movement of the flapping mass and a released position. The first sub assembly is disposed laterally with respect to the hub between the couplings for the two blades adjacent to the rotor. One of the two sections of the first sub assembly is fixed on the coupling of a first of the two adjacent blades to extend laterally on one side of the coupling which is rotated towards the coupling of the second of the two adjacent blades.
