ORAL PHARMACEUTICAL COMBINATIONS OF ANTIHISTAMINIC COMPOUNDS AND TERPENOIDS

Pharmaceutical compositions for oral administration comprising an antihistaminic compound and a terpenoid compound are disclosed. They are useful in the prevention or treatment of inter alia allergic rhinitis (hay fever), mild asthma and urticaria. Furthermore, the invention concerns a method of treating inter alia allergic rhinitis, mild asthma and urticaria which method comprises orally administering to a mammal including man a therapeutically effective amount of an antihistaminic compound together with a therapeutically effective amount of a terpenoid compound. Further the invention relates to the use of an antihistaminic compound together with a terpenoid compound (for the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition adapted to oral administration) for the prevention or treatment of inter alia allergic rhinitis, mild asthma and urticaria.
